I started working on this small project in February of 2025, and its still a work in progress! Not only am I coding the app, but I have also hand drawn all of the colouring books that are currently use-able in app! Super fun!
I began working working on the idea of creating a better way for Artists to service and organize their freelance work, when I myself was in the position of struggling to balance work, school, and my part time art business on the side. There are many websites that offer the ability to sell your digital goods as an artist, but there are very few that allow you to do this, while also orginizing and handling any commission work as well. Thast why I decided to learn and make my own, as I navigate though my software development course.
I started working on this project at the beginning of September 2025. This was my first project where I fully built both a beautiful front end, as well as a fully functional back end, for a program. The app first launches into a log in/sign up page, where users can create an account. Once users are logged in, that have the ability to create a notebook, choose a style-ish notepad cover, as well choose a paper type from a few common options (lined, graph, and bullet paper). All note data is saved into our backend, as well as any user data information. There are functional text editors in the note taking screen, such as bold, italics, a text colour changer, and a font re-sizer. Last but not least, users can also choose to 'trash' a notebook. The trashed notebooks wait in the 'trash can section' with the ability to be restored, or permanently deleted.
